I’ve been playing some shows with a great local salsa band, Charanga Agoza. I really enjoy the sound and feel of this music and it’s a style I don’t get to play very often. A big rhythm section of piano, bass, timbales, congas and hand percussion with trombone, flute and violin and vocals. Very cool. If you’re nearby, I hope you come check it out.
