Many years ago I played a string of shows with the Paragon Ragtime Orchestra and I’ve recently had the pleasure of getting reacquainted and playing shows. The band recreates the amazing but largely forgotten music of composers like George Cohan, Victor Herbert and Scott Joplin. Led by Rick Benjamin, with a library of more than 20,000 authentic arrangements of this music and a clear love for it, these performances feel as exciting and alive as anything else. I really have a great time with this.
